Pontiac's Fight To Save Their Prison
"Pontiac's Rebellion" Documentary
Today, Director Brian Seay announced the long awaited documentary about last year's fight to save Pontiac's prison is being shown around Illinois!

The documentary, entitled "Pontiac's Rebellion," shows the year-long fight to keep the Pontiac prison open.

"I'm very excited for people to see this film," Seay stated.  "I'm very thankful to the residents of Pontiac for putting up with me for the last year."

Seay followed Pontiac Mayor Scott McCoy and other Pontiac residents as they fought to stop Blagojevich's decision to close the prison.

"I know a lot of people have been eagerly waiting to see this film, and I personally can't wait," said former mayor McCoy.  "The prison closure put Pontiac in the fight of our lives, and this documentary is going to show how the entire community came together.  It's also going to show some things that happened that nobody ever knew about."
